Review by hotel critic
The property proved to be family-friendly, featuring amenities like an ice skating rink and tennis courts that kept my boys entertained. We spent a delightful afternoon on the tennis courts, which provided a great bonding experience. The communication from the management was commendable, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Although I found the queen bed in the master bedroom a bit firm for my liking and wasn't a fan of the shower dome system, these minor points didn't outweigh our enjoyable stay. We loved the clean, spacious area and were well equipped with essentials. The icing on the cake was our proximity to local golf courses, like the Chisholm Links Golf Club, only a five-minute drive away. The Hydro made for a pleasant family holiday, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
